The A•C•T PMC Series of non-contact beta transmission sensors are designed to provide precise, repeatable, on-line, continuous web measurement of basis weight or thickness.
The PMC Series of sensors include a range of beta and gamma isotopes that are application specific and provide measurement of a wide range of materials from tissue to heavy gage plastic and rubber sheet.
Since the PMC sensors are transmission type, they are non-contact and do not deform or contaminate the process material.
